Editorial policy
Open Showbiz Journal aims to make the choices behind entertainment publicity easier to see. We write with care, distinguish observation from inference, and correct material errors when they are brought to our attention.
Accuracy and care
We check names, wording and context before publication, and avoid presenting interpretation as established fact. When discussing a public image, we describe what the material shows rather than making unsupported claims about a person's motives, character or private life.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for the reader, not as a promise of favourable coverage. Paid or partner material is clearly labelled where it appears, so readers can distinguish it from editorial work. A partnership does not guarantee an article or influence its conclusions.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error, use the Contact page and identify the article and the point that needs attention. We review correction requests and make changes when warranted, with an explanation where the change needs one.
Images
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Such images are illustrations, not documentary evidence, and are identified when used.
